The Venezuelan opportunity

Venezuela is in an industrial reactivation cycle driven by international oil and gas majors restarting production, Tier 1 EPC contractors executing related projects, and local industrial plants renewing equipment and consumables. Demand is growing faster than organized supply. The market needs local channels with physical presence, logistics capacity and communication in the manufacturer's language.

What we offer as a channel

01

Local presence in Maracaibo

Headquartered in Maracaibo, Zulia State. We are based in the oil and gas region where most Venezuelan industrial operations are concentrated.

02

Multilingual ES/EN/ZH

Technical and commercial communication in Spanish, English and Chinese, supported by AI translation for initial conversations and an in-house human translator for technical and commercial discussions in Chinese.

03

Logistics coverage EXW to DDP

We operate the full incoterms range from EXW to DDP. The chosen incoterm is negotiated case by case based on logistical and fiscal convenience for both the end customer and the manufacturer.

04

Formal backoffice

We coordinate commercial documentation, quotation records and order follow-up between your team and Venezuelan buyers.

Our business lines

We position your product within four formal product lines based on its category and the buying pattern of the Venezuelan customer.

Line 1. Operations and General Services: JanSan, office.

Portfolio policy

Portfolio policy: coverage without direct competition. We represent brands that complement each other, not brands that cannibalize each other. When several brands cover the same category, we differentiate them by segment (premium for critical applications, standard for high-rotation use) or by origin (national, American, European, Chinese), so the client picks based on technical need and on the price plus lead-time balance.

How partnerships work

01

Commission

Commission. VN handles quotation, sale and documentation. The manufacturer invoices the Venezuelan client directly and pays a commission to VN. Useful when the manufacturer prefers to keep direct invoicing to the end customer.

02

Distributor margin (we buy and resell, default)

Distributor margin (we buy and resell). Default model when starting the relationship. VN purchases the product from the manufacturer (in USD, FOB or agreed term), imports, invoices the Venezuelan client and adds its margin between purchase and sale. VN coordinates the local sales and import process with the manufacturer.

03

Pure representation

Pure representation. VN acts as the manufacturer's declared commercial arm in Venezuela. Invoicing may come directly from the manufacturer or from VN depending on the operation. The channel role is public and is formalized contractually. Useful for manufacturers seeking official presence in Venezuela.

Why partner with us, not direct

01

Coverage

Coverage. Reaching a Venezuelan buyer directly means replicating logistics, presence, language and support that the local channel already has in place. Starting from scratch extends time-to-revenue by 12 to 24 months.

02

Service

Service. Venezuelan industrial purchasing demands aftermarket support, documentation handling, warranty management and local-timezone response. The channel absorbs this workload; the remote manufacturer does not.

03

Currency and customs management

Currency and customs management. Venezuelan operations require currency handling, importation, customs clearance and local invoicing. The channel runs these mechanics; the remote manufacturer avoids taking them on directly.
