Before you export
What should we check before exporting to Venezuela?
Write the order so it can be executed, then schedule production. Confirm the buyer, the specification and quantity, the delivery place, the Incoterm agreed for that order (from EXW to DDP), the payment terms, and the commercial documents the factory will prepare.
VN puts that scope into the quotation. Customs handling is not explained on this page. VN reviews it with its national and international customs partners while quoting. VN is not a customs broker and does not give customs or legal advice.
Discuss a manufacturer partnershipCan a foreign manufacturer sell to buyers in Venezuela?
Manufacturers work with industrial buyers in Venezuela through a local commercial contact. From Maracaibo, VN coordinates positioning, quotations, follow-up and delivery, in English, Chinese and Spanish.
Whether your company may ship a given order is outside this page. VN does not give legal advice. The practical path is the quotation for that operation.
Payment and documents
How do we get paid when selling to Venezuela?
Currency, price basis and when payment is due are agreed on that order. There is no single method for every manufacturer.
VN follows the commercial terms written in the quotation. VN does not state legal collection rules.
Agree payment terms with VNWhat documents does a shipment need?
VN coordinates the commercial documents of the operation with its national and international customs partners. On the factory side that usually means a commercial invoice, a packing list and the transport document.
If that order uses a certificate of origin, the form is confirmed before shipment. This is not a legal checklist. What applies to the operation is closed in the quotation, with those partners.
How does a quotation work?
Send the catalogue or the specification, the quantity, the delivery place and the commercial terms you can offer. VN replies with the scope of that operation: supply path, Incoterm and the documents to coordinate.
Each case is reviewed with VN’s customs partners while quoting. The quotation is the place where that operation is defined.
Customs and lead time
What does VN handle on customs?
VN Industrial works with national and international customs partners to ensure proper handling. The requirements of each case are reviewed with them during the quotation.
Tariff, SIDUNEA and, where a case mentions them, SENCAMER or a COVENIN standard may be part of the file. This page names them and does not explain them. VN is not a customs broker and does not give customs or legal advice.
Review your case in a quotationHow do we estimate lead time?
Lead time is set for that operation. The quotation says whether supply is from local availability, a replenishment schedule or a project import, and the timing that goes with that path.
Transit is confirmed on the route of that shipment. This page does not publish a number of days or a freight tariff.
